How to Correctly Fill Out a New Mexico Vehicle Title
1. Fill in the Buyer’s and Seller’s Information
Both parties must provide their full names and addresses in the designated sections.
2. Record the Vehicle’s Information
Include the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), make, model, year, and mileage at the time of sale.
3. Sign and Date the Title
Both the buyer and seller must sign and date the title in the presence of a notary public if required.
4. Odometer Disclosure
Complete the odometer disclosure statement, which is typically part of the title document.
