Error Message "Vehicle May Not Restart"
2 Top Post of the Week!
Rafael shared an urgent issue: "Vehicle May Not Restart" error message. If you see this warning, it’s likely your 12V (or 16V) battery is failing—not your high-voltage battery.
The 12V battery powers essential functions like door locks, screens, and starting the car. If it dies, your Tesla won’t turn on—even if the main battery is fine!
What to do?
- Schedule service ASAP
- Be aware that newer models use 16V instead of 12V
- If possible, replace the battery before it completely dies
